Amsterdam canal
The centre of Amsterdam is famous all over the world for its canals, with their many bridges
and lovely houses. The city did not grow slowly and naturally; every new extension was
carefully planned. The three most important canals were dug from 1613: The Heren-, Keizers-
and Prinsengracht ( Lords', Emperor's and Prince's Canals). Long narrow building sites of
equal width were sold. As a result the fronts of the houses, too, all have the same widht and
give the canals an orderly look. The facades do not present a monotonous picture, however,
for a great diversity of gables was used.
This waterproof play canal is easy to assemble and fits on any bathtub, shower basin or baby
bath. It can also be built and played with on a table or on the floor.
